As we all know, wheels are considered to be the tools that get us from place to place, right? You would think it's pretty typical and they don't need to be "upgraded", fancy, or anything; but us Americans have gone to infiniti and beyond when it comes to customizing our car rims.
When our owner; Rick, spend some time in the fascinating country of Russia, he said that the steel wheels on the cars over there were just so plain and were literally, pretty ugly looking. They didn't take the time to buy decorative OEM Alloy Wheels or even hubcaps to cover those rusty-looking steel wheels. To tell the truth, when Rick went over there and told them about our business over
here, they were actually surprised that he was able to make a company that simply sells stuff for wheels; but anything is possible, right?
Anyway, here in America, we've gone so far to impress random people that we're even putting expensive diamonds and Swarovski Crystals in our car rims to make them look "flashy". There's actually a company called "Lexani" that operates out of Corona, CA that can personally create and customize a wheel that's designed for you and only you. If you ever happen to have $100,000-$1,000,000 laying around somewhere, I would suggest you purchase one-or even a set of wheels from their company. If you want to look like a celebrity driving down the streets of your hometown, then these wheels are
definitely for you. Personally, I'd buy a Toyota and replace the Toyota FJ Cruiser Rims with some black, silver, and diamond studded wheels from Lexani... but that's only if I had the money.
Of course this isn't the only option when it comes to customizing your wheels (thank goodness), I've seen some people have green cars; specifically Scion xD models. When I spot my eyes on these cars as I'm speeding down the freeway, I notice that most of those people never hesitate to paint their Scion xD Rims the same color green to match their car. I'm not going to lie, sometimes it can look
kind of funny, but whatever floats their boat... right? This only goes to show that the owners of these cars would pretty much do anything to keep their car in great shape so they can show it off-which is
perfectly fine with me. I'd do the exact same if I had a cool car like they do.
Not only can you paint it and have all these trendy designs on it, there are some wheels out there that are actually Alligator Skinned;
Ooh yeah. You can bet that these round pieces of Aluminum are pretty nice, relatively rare, and SUPER expensive. I've done a little research for you, and one of the lowest prices that they offer on these wheels is $1,540. So let's multiply that by 4, a set would cost you $6,160! That's
without the tax for those of you that live in the wonderful state in California.
So as you can see, people have the option of customizing their rims anyway they want; literally. The last thing I want to do is preach to you; but compared to Russia, we're pretty lucky considering we can put actual crystals in our wheels. I mean, who would've thought that that was even possible; you know? So... take advantage of it, if you can.
